(See Maps in Appendix A). <br />1.1.8 Other Utilities <br />it has also been reported that underground telephone lines <br />are present within the site area. However, upon contacting the <br />telephone offices for Fremont County, officials refused to <br />release information concerning the location of these lines. They <br />did, however, offer to send a locater to the site and flag <br />locations. Officials at the telephone company did not feel that <br />any significant damage would occur due to subsidence. Dorchester <br />will, however, work closely with the telephone company to monitor <br />effects to the telephone line and make appropriate repaics. <br />1.2 Summary <br />• It has been determined, based on worst possible subsidence <br />consequences, that some material damage or diminution of <br />reasonably foreseeable use could result in the event of mine <br />subsidence, pursuant to Section 2.05.6(6)(b)(i) of the <br />Regulations. Therefore, a subsidence survey and a subsidence <br />control plan have been prepared as required by Section <br />2.05.6(6)(b)(iii)(A) and (B). The subsidence survey describing: <br />• The worst possible subsidence consequences. <br />• Material damage and diminution of reasonably foreseeable <br />use of structures. <br />• Brief description of the planned mining methods. <br />• Brief description of geologic properties which influence <br />subsidence occurrence. <br />• • Brief description of local mining experience concerning <br />8 <br />
