GEC Minerals, Inc. currently works with
Dorchester Colomine Coal on a day-to-day basis to ensure that their
operations are not conflicting with the underground operations. In
addition, GEC Minerals, Inc. has procured MSHA approval for its
operation near the Dorchester Colomine operation. Special care is
taken by all equipment operators and foremen at the GEC Minerals,
Inc. operation to minimize a hazard which they may face or to
Dorchester Colomine personnel as a result of underground mining
activities both current and past.
