<br />Structures which are contained within the mine area consist of: <br />• Haulage Road A <br />• Sediment Pond A <br />• Sediment Pond B <br />• Sediment Pond C <br />• Sediment Pond D <br />• AN FO Storage Magazine <br />• Access Roads to Overburden Fill Area <br />& Soil Stockpiles <br />Haulage Road "A" runs from the intersection of County Highway 93 <br />and County Highway 15 to the mine area and crosses County Highway <br />92. This haul road was constructed during 1978. The profile for <br />this haul road is shown in Map No. 18, Haul Road "A" Profile. <br />• Sediment Ponds A, B, C and D were constructed prior to 1981. GEC <br />Minerals, Inc. is awaiting additional assistance from the SOAP <br />Contractor in sizing the existing surface water control structure <br />to comply with the Performance Standards. GEC Minerals anticipates <br />that these construction measures to upgrade the structures to meet <br />the performance standards will be completed during the summer of <br />1981 in preparation for mining the remainder of the area as shown <br />in the Mine Plan Map No. 15. The existing structures are shown on <br />the Existing Structures Map No. 21. <br />GEC Minerals, Inc. utilizes a portable Class B explosives trailer <br />for storing the Ammonium Nitrate - Fuel Oil blasting agent. This <br />location is in an isolated area to ensure safety of the employees <br />and other area personnel. GEC Minerals, Inc, plans to relocate <br />this portable bunker as necessary to facilitate backfilling and <br />grading, ease of access to the bunker and promote safety of the <br />operation. <br /> <br />2.05-11 <br />
