Reynolds Pit
DMG 112 Application
Exhibit H -Wildlife Information
This property has been cultivated farmland for many years. Wildlife consists of birds, small
mammals and reptiles found in and azound agricultural activity.
a) The most significant wildlife on the property is songbirds and pheasants. There also are a
variety of snakes and small rodents. Deer, raccoons, skunks, foxes and coyotes
occasionally cross the property.
b) The alfalfa field is used by ground nesting birds such as pheasants in the spring.
c) We believe there are no threatened or endangered species on this site.
d) This operation will have little effect on wildlife since the property is regulazly disturbed
by agricultural activity. Animals using the azeas of active mining will be displaced until
mining and reclamation aze completed. The property provides only seasonal food and
cover, mostly on the 20-acre Reynolds parcel which will be least disturbed.
