Reynolds Pit <br />DMG 112 Application <br />Exhibit G -Water Information <br />(1) The only water present on the site is irrigation water and irrigating wastewater during the <br />imgation season of mid April to October. There is a wastewater ditch on the south side <br />haul road. The mining operation will not interfere with the normal operation of this <br />ditch. There aze concrete imgation ditches on three sides of the Reynolds property and a <br />head gate at the southeast corner of the Reynolds property that are all owned by Eldon <br />Reynolds. The mining operation will not interfere with the normal operation of these <br />ditches except that fields being mined will not be imgated. <br />(2) (a) Concrete irrigation ditches, the head gate, wastewater ditch, and <br />domestic waterline are shown on Exhibit C. <br />(b) The Gunnison River nms east to west on the north side of the railroad tracks north <br />of the Fedler property. <br />(c) Stormwater runoff within the pit will be directed by grading and/or perimeter <br />ditches to the northwest comer of the property in accordance with the Stormwater <br />Dischazge Permit. <br />(3) The only water use by the mining operation will be for dust control at an estimated rate of <br />6000 gallons per day. On site irrigation water will be used to aide reclamation. <br />(4) Water will be obtained from an approved source off site for dust control. Irrigation water <br />to be used in reclamation is owned by Eldon Reynolds. <br />(5) There will be no dichazge of process water or water from dewatering. The applicant will <br />apply for a Stormwater Discharge Pemvt for Sand and Gravel Operafions from the Water <br />Quality Control Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. <br />
