Energy Fuels' success in maximizing coal recover is evidenced by
• historical data for an 18-month period -- January, 1978 to July, 1979
which shows a remarkable 87% coal recovery rate. Energy Fuels will
strive to maintain the highest recovery rate possible in the operations
proposed in this permit application.
Tipple Modification Bond
As the topsoiling and revegetation of the tipple area is addressed
elsewhere, the following bond calculations concern only the removal and
disposal of the material associated with the substation and stoker
oiling system.
Substation
1) Removal of transformer and disposal to local land fill
2) Removal and disposal of H-frames, fence, and concrete
Stoker oiling system
• 1) Removal and transport of 500 gallon tank and 12,000 gallon storage
tank
2) Removal and disposal of concrete materials around 12,000 gallon
tank
Assumptions:
1) Labor $18.90 per hour
2) Truck/trailer use to transport transformer to local land fill
3) H-frames, fence, and concrete disposed of at local land fill using
a dump truck
4) 500 gallon and 12,000 gallon tanks transported for use elsewhere
A.
