Pond No. 1 NW 1/4, SW 1/4 3.10 <br />Section 18 <br />T4N, R86W <br />Eckman Park NE 1/4, SE 1/4 12.46 <br />Reservoir No. 2 Section 13 <br />T4N, R87W <br />TOTAL 39.52 <br />Energy Fuels Corporation owns an undivided 577/937 interest in <br />Eckman Park Reservoirs 2 and 3, and a 100% interest in EFC Pond No. <br />1 for a total of 25.53 acre-feet. The remaining 360/937 interest <br />of Eckman Park Reservoirs No. 2 and 3 totals 13.99 acre-feet and is <br />owned by the Papoulas Land and Cattle Company of Craig, Colorado. <br />The 25.53 acre-feet owned by Energy Fuels will be protected by <br />providing a temporary alternate point of storage in sedimentation <br />pond A, the dam of which is located in the northeast quarter of <br />• Section 7, Township 4 North, Range 86 41est. Application for a <br />change in water right has been made in Division No. 6 Water Court <br />in Case No. W-1186-77 for Energy Fuels' interest in the Eckman Park <br />Reservoirs No. 2 and 3. Application for the 3.10 acre-feet in <br />E.F.C. Pond No. 1 has been made in Case No. 79CW92. <br />The Papoulas Land and Cattle Company has agreed to move their <br />360/937 interest in Eckman Park Reservoirs No. 2 and 3 to sedimenta- <br />ti on pond A also. Application for a change in water right to <br />provide an alternate point of storage for the 13.99 acre-feet of <br />the Papoulas Land and Cattle Company in sedimentation pond A has <br />been made in Division No. 6 Water Court. <br />Detention of surface water in pits will result in a temporary re- <br />duction in downstream water availability, but will be quickly <br />alleviated by pumping water out of the pits. This pumping will be <br />almost continuous and will be started almost immediately after <br />. water begins to accumulate in the pit so that the coal and over- <br />burden can be removed.
