Colorado 80203
Dear Sir:
~ iii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
999
4699 County Road 4
Meeker, Colorado 81641
December 11, 1981
I am writing this letter just to be sure that your
department is aware that my husband and i filed a protest
against the Stout-Amick gravel pit application for special
use. I have enclosed a copy of the letter of protest that
we filed with the county commissioners and a copy of the
letter that Lynn K. Whiteman wrote us regarding the poss-
ible devaluation of our property by being next to heavy
industrial property.
After coming out and looking over the site for the
proposed gravel pit in relation to our house, the Rio
Blance County Commissioners decided to give approval to the
gravel pit with the stipulation that the roads for the
trucks be kept away from our house and on the back side
of the gravel pit. Also whoever leases the Stout-Amick
gravel pit is to check with the commissioners before put-
ting in any roads to be sure they meet their recommenda-
tions concerning the roads. That is our concern: that
the roads are put in where the commissions specified so
that the noise and dust is minimal as far as our house is
concerned.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hu h~ uez
g g
~ ~8
.~'~~ 1 ~
