' EXHIBIT D - Reclamation Plan
1 - 5 The areas subject to reclamation are indicated on
' map by the code R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 . Each area pertains
to an area approximately 30 feet long by 10 feet wide ,
and will be referred ' to as slide access points ( SAP) .
Each SAP will be cut one at a time and will be used
' until all stone is extracted in each particular area .
It is probable that one SAP will provide years of
extraction before the next one is needed .
' The reclamation process will include back filling with
1 ' of topsoil with maintaining a slope not to exceed
' the original grade and reseeded with native alpine
grass mix specified from S . C. S . in Canon City* Reclaimed
slopes will not exceed 3 : 1 .
' 6 - 7 Site will be reseeded each year during the months of
October thru May as to take advantage of natural
precipitation . The seed bed will be rototilled , fine
' graded and mulched with straw according to S . C . S .
specifications . Seed will be broadcast to a depth of
1/8 inch .
8 . No ponds , streams or roads will remain after reclamation .
9 . No waste dump , piles or tailing impoundments or other
' disturbed areas will be created so reclamation does
not apply
