Therefore, a portion of the inquiries which follow were formulated <br />in an attempt to dwell on two principal Issues that the staff feels are 1n <br />need of further cortmtttments. These are: the nature of the propose operation <br />in relation to the Arkansas River; and the reclamation plan. <br />Exhibit C - Premining and Mining Plan Maps <br />Rule 1.56(5) requires that there be an agreement for (posstbl ) damage <br />compensation by the operator for structures located within 20 feet of <br />the affected area. Such documentation should be provided for the <br />residence lndentlfied in this exhibit. <br />2. The distribution and type of vegetation present should be sho~n -- <br />particularly groups of large cottonwood trees (and other matu e <br />vegetation) identifying wildlife habitat(s). <br />Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />The Staff encourages the operator to post (flagging, stakes, tc.) the <br />permit boundaries and topsoil stockpiles.
