iii iiiiiiiiniu iii
Pridemore Construction Inc.

April 25, 1991
Mined Land Reclamation Division
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Attn: Dan Hernandez
Re: Pridemore Construction, Lota Rock Pit
Dear Dan,
P.O. Box 317
Poncho Springs,
Colorado 61242
RECEIVER
APR 2 9 1991
Mined Land
Reclamation Division
As per my conversation with Bruce Humphries, I would like to clarify the
following points on my 110 permit application.
Under the general operation information, item #10, the primary future land
use will depend on the owner's petioning the County Commissioners for zoning
change from Mining. For the purpose of our application we will designate the
future land use as Wildlife Habitat.
In response to the Public Comment received from the Town of Fairplay, due
to the location of the mining area being approximately 3200 feet north of the
proposed Fairplay Beach Project and the fact that all the mining equipment used
on this project will be equiped with turbo chargers and mufflers in order to
minimize the noise from the operation, the possibility of any disrupting noise
reaching the Fairplay Beach Area is remote. In response to the concern of the
appearance, in consideration of the reclamation plan submitted on exhibits D & E,
the mined area will remain in as good or better condition as it currently is.
There will be no traffic congestion as a result of this mining operation.
I hope this addresses all of your concerns. Please see the enclosed
Exhibits C & D to answer any questions about the mining and reclamation plan.
Respectfully,
~ ~ ~ p~~~
Clifford L.
