:• of future need, our gravel operation could extend to
1990. The same proceedure will be used as stated in
paragraph A. The balance of materials will be used
from all areas thereafter until completely gone.
112(5)(1) The nature of the affected areas is gravel. The
thickness of gravel bed is shown on mining plan.
The depth of gravel in the affected area is 40'.
The overburden to be removed , being residual slag
materials from previous smelter operations is 6"
to 12" thick.
(ii) The stratum immediately beneath the material is
gravel. We will excavate to within 15' of river
surface.
• (5) EXHIBIT B - Reclamation Plan
All affected areas, A.,B.,C.,D., and E, will be
excavated between 35' and 40' in depth from existing
ground condition. When area A. is excavated down
in depth, the area will be used for stockpiling
finished materials. As business warrants, the materials
will be removed and at the time of completion~of all
stockpiles removed the ground will be left with a gravel
surface to a maximum of 1~" gravel mix. The site will
be graded level and the site left in perfect condition
for industrial sites.
The above proceedure will take place for all affected
areas.
~~
-Page -13-
