STANDARDIZED RECLAMATION BOND FORMAT <br />Individual items may be expanded as necessary or noted as not applicable based upon <br />the specific reclamation practices approved in each permit. <br />• A. Area Bond <br />The Area Bond covers the costs of backfilling and rough grading (and special <br />reconstruction techniques when specifically approved) according to procedures and <br />postmining topography approved in the current term permit. <br />Introduction <br />Present a general discussion of assumptions, calculations, procedures, methods, <br />etc. for summarizing or documenting calculations. <br />2. Backfill <br />Describe equipment, procedures, volumes, and costs for bringing all pits to an <br />interim/bond topography with reference to a quality, current map of the project site. <br />The interim/bond tooooraahy must come as close as aossible to the <br />Appendices A through F detail equipment fleets and costs for this reclamation <br />activity. <br />Operators should clearly show cut and fill areas and the associated haul distances <br />• and grades on a map. <br />DE 10/2005 4 <br />
