MEMO
To: Carl Mount
From: Erica Crosby
~I I I I~ ~ I~ ~ I~ ~~~~ ~I~
999
Subject: Tellier Gravel Pit (M-98-058); Informal Conference
Date: October 8, 1998

Cazl, an informal conference will be held for the Tellier Gravel Pit (M-98-0~8) on Tuesday,
October 20, 1998 at 8:30 a.m. at the Routt County Courthouse. This informal conference is
being held due to objections to the 112 Permit Application by two adjacent landowners, Diane &
Thane Anderson and David & Janet Bradley. A copy of each letter is enclosed.
Letter dated September 21, 1998 -Anderson's list a number of concems regazding the
content of the application. A majority of the concerns aze in regazd to inconsistencies
between the Routt County Special Use Permit and the 112 Permit Application submitted
to the Division. A few of the concerns were similar to questions that I raised in my
adequacy letter dated September 24, 1998. These concerns will need to be addressed
prior to the Division's recommendation to issue or deny the permit application. The
remaining concems aze not within our jurisdiction.
2. Letter dated September 22, 1998- Bradley's have a few concerns which include impact to
the wildlife in the azea, noise and a detriment to their property values and general quality
of life.
The Boazd hearing is scheduled for November 18-19, 1998. Please let me know if you have any
questions or need additional information.
c:\esc\ 112app\tn98 05 8\InfConf
