'~ ~ • • <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />The reclamation goal is to minimize soil erosion nd <br />sediment on the site. Practices that will be req fired <br />on this area include grading, shaping, fertilizin , <br />seeding and mulching. After the site is mined out to a <br />depth of approximately 14 feet, and material unsui able <br />for use as aggregate is backfilled in the pit to a even <br />depth, one of two reclamation plans will be follow d: <br />1. If the quantity of unsuitable material bac fills <br />the pit to a depth below the water table, the side will <br />be shaped and on a 2 or 3:1 slope on the pit, and twill <br />be allowed to become a pond or a lake. <br />2. If the unsuitable material backfills the p t to a <br />depth above the water table, the area will be grad d to <br />as near original contours as reasonable possible. <br />Irrespective of the plan adopted, all disturbed <br />those underwater) will receive an even distribut <br />soil and the area will be seeded in accordance wi <br />attached recommendations of the Soil Conservation <br />EXHIBIT "E" <br />Downare Land, Cattle & Equipment Company <br />June 29, 1984 <br />3s (except <br />of top- <br />the <br />=_rvice. <br />
