BIZ FOy500 Plant Ecologist/Principal <br />M.S. 1996. Biological <br />Sciences. Montana State <br />University. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Liz's areas of expertise include wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation. <br />She is knowledgeable in the restoration of natural habitats, riparian, and dis- <br />turbed land reclamation, and has over 11 years experience conducting vegetation <br />inventories at project sites in a vaxie.ty of ecosystems. Liz has designed and <br />supervised construction of restoration sites, wetland mitigation sites, and trout <br />and duck ponds. She also has experience in revegetation, weed control, plant tax- <br />onomy, threatened and endangered plant surveys, and wildlife habitat assess- <br />ments. Liz is also a skilled negotiator providing assistance to clients in negotiat- <br />ing settlements for Clean \water Act violations with the Lt.S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers and the U.S. Environmental Protection r\gency and also in axbitraung <br />and negotiating agreements in wetland and other biological issues. <br />B.A. 1990. Liz has an extensive background in overland delineation and <br />Cefificafions and permtmng, mitigation design, agency coordination and the resolution of con- <br />Affiliations Elicts and potential violations of Section X04 of the Clean \Vater Act. <br />Society for Wetland Disturbed Land Restoration. Liz's background includes studies in disturbed land <br />Scientists <br />reclamation and restoration, including soil nutrients and physical properties, <br />Society for Ecological mine reclamation, weed infestations, and native plant xestocatioa. Liz has creat- <br />Restorotion ed restoration plans in the central and northern Rocky Mountains, and the cen- <br />tral and northern Great Plains. Liz has conducted extensive revegetation stud- <br />ies in alpine areas on the Beartooth Plateau in \Y'yoming. <br />Vegetation Studies. Liz's experience includes conducting vegetation studies such <br />as wildlife habitat assessment, noxious weed investigations, vegetation invento- <br />ries and community descriptions, rangeland utilization, and vegetation produc- <br />tion. Liz has worked throughout the Northern and Central Rocky Mountains, <br />Great Plains, the Inteunountain west and in the deserts and mountainous areas <br />of Arizona. <br />Threatened or Endangered Species.
