~ Mr. Don Aldrich • •
Page -4-
"The lands affected by the Otero County gravel pit known as the -
Hancwbk Pit will be reclaimed in accordance with the terms of
(dlryed Land Reclamation Permit Number 81-279 and Section 34-32-11G
of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act." (Please refer to
Section 34-32-117(Z)(e) of the Act.)
While on the site, I noticed that dust control was a problem due to mining
and processing activities. How is dust to be controlled on site, and does
Otero County have a fugitive dust control permit form the Colorado Department
i of Health? Proof of approval of a fugitive dust permit should be given to
our Division.
2 have tried to be comprehensive in my review of this application in order to
minimize our necessary correspondence. If I can clarify any parts of this
letter, please call me.
Sincerely,
Mark S. Loye
Reclamation Specialist
MSL:ys
