Recommendations for proper re-vegetation at this site xere
obtained from the District Conservationist of the USDA Service
' Center in Greeley. (see Exh~hi~' ~~J~~).
,' It is the intention of D&F ENTERPRISES to follow the
re-vegetation suggestions as outlined. Adhering to the recommendations
' of the Soil Conservation Service rill insure that the site under
question will not only be mined in a sequential manner, but shall
' also have a desirable re-vegetation plan to complement the total
' reclamation package.
~ This x111 help protect the entire region north of the Cache
' la Poudre River, as it x111 provide an environmentally sound reclam-
ation project for the primary area, thus enhancing the value of the
' surrounding acreage.
The second major thrust of the reclamation program is concerned

with xildlife preservation. The reclamation package should have a
' positive effect on the existing xildlife. The extensive planting
schedule of trees and shrubs throughout the area x111 provide
i ~ adequate cover and nesting spots, and should be instrumental in
attracting additional birds and mammals.
