(Golder) is pleased to submit this weekly summary of Phase Na, b, and c <br />Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of <br />September 16s' through September 22"d, 2001. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures <br />ranged from 33° F to 44° F, with highs ranging from 56° F to 74° F. Rain was recorded on September <br />17`". Weather observations were made on all seven days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction Svnopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, <br />b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase Na, b, and c construction activities on five days of <br />this seven-day reporting period (September 17~' through September 21st) <br />Phase IVa <br />Ames performed Structural Fill (SF) placement activities in the central portion of the Phase IVa <br />footprint, above the newly constructed secondary underdrain. Three Caterpillaz DI0's, two <br />Caterpillar D8's, and a Caterpillaz D7 worked a local borrow of SF to the north, cut to fill <br />construction. A Caterpillar 563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Caterpillaz water wagon <br />provided moisture conditioning when needed or required. <br />Phase IVb <br />Polyflex continued deployment and welding of geomembrane in the Phase IV LOB area and <br />completed geomembrane activities on September 21S`.
