Phase IV Weekly Summary No. 32 Page 3 003-2203
Ames surveyors. Golder also performed nucleaz moisture density testing of SLF at the LOB pad. A
summary of field moisture-density testing and laboratory testing during this reporting period is
presented in Attachment B.
Golder observed the Phase IVa secondary underdrain construction for correct dimensioning as per
specifications of four foot in width and two foot in depth to accommodate materials. Twelve-ounce,
was installed prior to the installation of 12-inch minus underdrain fill. The geotextile was then
wrapped over the underdraln fill as six inches of three-inch maximum-sized SSF material was
installed over the geotextile. The trench measured approximately 453 feet in length, commencing at
Highway 67 and following the natural topography to termination within 20 feet of the existing ADR
road. The tie-in between the proposed primary underdrain and the aforementioned secondary
underdrain will be constructed at a later date.
Golder observed and recorded confirmation drilling and remediation of underground workings in the
all Phase IV azeas during this reporting period.

•
Golder monitored and documented geomembrane installation. Golder observed panel deployment,
including panel thickness measurements and mazking defects. Golder monitored and documented
trial seam tests, seaming, seam pressure tests, vacuum testing, patching, and identified fusion seam
destructive samples and extrusion seam destructive sample for testing by Polyflex. Prior to
geomembrane arriving on site, Golder conducted MQA conformance testing on material
manufactured for the LOB construction. Golder performed one conformance test that met project
specification.
Laboratory Test Results
Golder collected one OF soil sample and one SSF soil sample and performed index testing
associated with the Phase IVa secondary underdrain construction, results of the laboratory tests aze
presented in Attachment B. Golder performed laboratory testing of one SLF soil sample, collected
the previous week, and is presented in Attachment B.
Meetines
CC&V held a Weekly Contractor meeting on September 11th.
