RECLAMATION PLAN

EXHIBIT E (wnt)
where seed is to be broadcast. If fertilizer is needed, it will be tilled into the seedbed prior to
planting or added to the Hydro-Mulch mix for application.
ReseedinE Operations
The seed mixes and application procedures were developed in conjunction with the
guide) Ines presented by the SCS in their report for the recommended seeding program. The irrigated
field mixture is left unchanged except for the addition of Regrain to provide atemporary cover crop.
We have used the guideline in PLANT MATERIALS FOR USE ON SURFACE-MINED LANDS
IN ARID AND SEMIARID REGIONS, an SCS publication to enhance the seed mixture for the non-
irrigated areas. The rates are applicable to drilling or hydro-mulching. If seed has to be broadcast,
the rates will be doubled.
The seed mixture will be planted in the spring or fall. If fall planting is convenient, it will
be done before the first freeze (about the time Winter wheat is planted). This would be the most
beneficial since it would allow the seed to take advantage of moisture present when the snow melts.
If spring planting is convenient, it will be done in late April or early May. The time of planting will
be controlled by when the re-soiled areas are ready for planting and weather conditions permit.
PROPOSED SEED MIX -Irrigated
Syecies Lbs.
