Rule 6.4.4 Exhibit D- Mining Plan <br />4. Please provide the source of the water to be used for dust suppression. <br />5. Please clarify the total depth of mining proposed. <br />Rule 6.4.5 Exhibit E-Reclamation Plan <br />6. The Division received comments regazding this application from various agencies. <br />The comment letters are being provided to the operator now, and aze enclosed with <br />this adequacy letter. <br />The mining plan under Exhibit E states that "fuel, lubricants, and other products will <br />be brought to the Byzantine Quarries 112 Operation in special trucks. Please note that <br />the following policies aze in effect for all DRMS permitted sites: All petroleum <br />and/or hazazdous material storage tanks on site for any period of time shall have <br />secondary containment. A lined berm must be constructed around non-double-walled <br />tanks to remain on site. The dimensions of this bean must be capable of containing all <br />contents of the tank (when full) plus 10% of the tank's capacity. The liner shall cover <br />the entire containment basin as a barrier to infiltration. <br />8. Please provide anticipated quantity (cubic yards) of construction stockpile material <br />on-site at all times. <br />9. Please provide anticipated quantity (cubic yards) of topsoil on-site at all times. <br />Rule 6.4.6 Exhibit F- Reclamation Plan Map <br />10. Please provide reclamation plan maps that include contour lines with numeric <br />topographic points of reference to determine the actual proposed gradation of the <br />slopes. <br />11. On the reclamation plan map it appears that there may be a pinch point at the <br />northwest corner of the pit wall of Phase I (see pink highlighted portion of enclosed <br />map). Please describe measures that will be employed to mitigate erosion potential in <br />this area. <br />12. Please describe what reclamation/revegetation actions will be taken for the azea <br />highlighted in yellow on the enclosed map. <br />Rule 6.4.7 Exhibit G- Water Information <br />13. The applicant will need to supply the Division with proof of the seasonal high <br />groundwater elevation. The applicant will need to submit this data to the Division <br />during the review period for this application or in the form of a revision to the permit <br />prior to the commencement of mining as stated in the application.
