As we discussed, the disturbed area will generally <br />become a "flat spot", achieving approximately the same <br />elevation as the area mined by the state on the south <br />and the "Dry wash" on the east and north. Final slopes <br />will be kept at a 3h:ly gradient and contured to drain <br />to Plum Creek on the south and the Dry Wash on east and <br />north. <br />Revegetation will be done as per the recommendations <br />outlined in Mr. Antonio's letter, attached. <br />Haul Road: <br />B. The haul road shall be reclaimed as a part of the <br />"Disturbed Area", per your suggestions and those of <br />the S.C.S. <br />Runoff and Erosion: <br />C. Runoff and erosion will generally be controlled by <br />following the recommendations of the S.C.S. reclamation <br />suggestions. if any slopes evolve to present and ex- <br />troidinary erosion problem, t}:ose will be terraced and <br />contured to slow down the water. <br />6. Local Zoning: <br />The local authority, Douglas County, has approved the <br />operation by issueing a special Use permit. <br />
