•C
gal/day/ft. Permeability was calculated to be 12.6 ft/day. These values are
thought to be much more indicative of the alluvium near well COY.
A-2.26.1 COY-A TEST
Well COY-A was used as an observation well during the aquifer test on the
alluvial aquifer at the COY well. An aquifer thinning correction was applied to
drawdowns of nearly one half of a foot. Table A-30 presents the aquifer-test data
collected during the 217 minutes of pumping.
Theis analysis of the log-log plot of the drawdown data for Figure A-35 yields
transmissivity, permeability and specific yield values of 14,300 gal/day/ft, 33
ft/day and .014, respectively. These values are thought to be representative of the
•~ alluvium near well COY-A.
Figure A-36 presents the semi-log plot of the drawdown data. Using Jacob's
method with the straight line fit of the data yields a transmissivity value of
17,000 gal/day/ft. Permeability and specific yield were calculated to be 39.2
ft/day and .017, respectively. These values agree well with those found through the
Theis analysis and are though[ to be representative for the alluvial aquifer near
well COY-A.
A-2.27 GP-1 TEST
A single well pump test was conducted on September 26, 1985 on well GP-1.
Water level was equal to the top of the casing. The pump was started as soon as [he
inlets dropped below the water level and [hen was lowered [o a level deep within the
L
A-16 ~EIJISED FEB 13 '87
