~ C;
A-2.17 GZ-3 TEST
A single well pump test on the R aquifer through well GZ-3 was conducted
September 9, 1985. Table A-20 presents the aquifer-test data for pumping well GZ-3.
Drawdown data was collected through the first eleven minutes of the test.
Figure A-22 presents the drawdown data for the R aquifer test on well GZ-3. A
straight line fit of the late data was used to analyze the aquifer properties. The
late portion of the data was used since the early time data was under a higher
discharge rate. A transmissivity of 10 gal/day/ft and a permeability of .13 ft/day
were found using Jacob's method to analyze the straight line fit of the data. The R
aquifer is not very transmissive near well GZ-3.
\ ~ A-2.18 P-1 TEST
Alluvial well P-1 was bailed and water levels were monitored during bailing on
September 20, 1985. Drawdowns were corrected for aquifer thinning. Correction for
aquifer thinning is discussed in Section A-3.0 Aquifer-Test Theory. Corrected
drawdown, water level and discharge from bailing are presented in Table A-21.
Corrected drawdown versus time plotted on a semi-log plot for well P-1 is
presented in Figure A-23. The last data points fit a straight line well. Using the
straight line fit with Jacob's method yields a transmissivity value of 175
gal/day/ft for the alluvial aquifer near well P-1. Permeability of the alluvium
around well P-1 was calculated to be 1.1 ft/day.
•~
A-11 (~91SED FEB 19 `~~
