~, <br /> United Companies <br /> Spillage Management Plan <br />'' (Virginia Acres Gravel Pit) <br /> Re: 2:2 <br /> Uni ted Companies recognizes the need to provide for public safety in all aspects <br /> of material transportation involving our own trucks and those trucks that may <br /> be engaged to haul for us. <br /> <br /> Spe cifically addressed by the Mesa County Commissioners in the hearings regarding <br /> the Conditional Use Permit at the Virginia Acres Gravel Pit on 30 Road, was the <br />' con cern of spillage of gravel from dump trucks. <br /> The components of the Spillage Management Plan are as follows: <br />' 1. Colorado Department of Highways weight restrictions will be observed. <br /> Vehicles will not be permitted to leave the site that exceed the allowable <br />' gross weight for the respective vehicle configuration. <br /> 2. Vehicles will not be loaded beyond their rated capacity. <br />1 3. Vehicles loaded with materials that are susceptible to blowing will be <br /> tarped. <br />' 4. Vehicles with defective haulage equipment that holds a potential for <br /> spillage will not be permitted to leave the site with a load. <br /> 5.
