B EXHIBIT ( 1 , 2, 3, 4 ) <br /> 1 . The elevation of the quarry is 7920 feet. Vegetation <br /> on the southwest facing slopes consist mainly of Ponderosa <br /> Pine, shrubs and grasses. The soil is 0-6 ' inches deep. <br /> The northeast facing slopes on the opposite i rom <br /> the present pit site are thickly covered with Douglas Fir, <br /> Englemann Spruce, some Ponderosa Pine and Aspen. The <br /> ground cover is thick with needles, bark and leaf mold. <br /> There are various grasses and shrubs. Soil depth varies <br /> from 0-6 inches . See C and D EXHIBITS for further <br /> explanation. <br /> 2 . There are no man-made structures within 200 feet of the <br /> 20 acre patented claim. The nearest is a bridge across <br /> Trout Creek more than a mile to the southwest. <br /> 3 . There is no flowing water on the site. Drainage from <br /> storms would flow toward Trout Creek. See area map. <br /> There are no known aquifers . <br /> 4 . There is no harm to wildlife. Deer, birds, rabbits, <br /> squirrels live and roam freely on the surrounding Forest <br /> Service lands. <br /> 4 <br />
