By the same token, the site could progress in a direction <br />that is worse than the present situation. <br />Page 4-64 of the approved permit application also indicates that for reclaimed <br />areas mapped as belonging to the Mountain Shrubland -Dry Phase community, a <br />success standard of 1500 woody stems per acre will apply. 90% of this standard is <br />1350 stems per acre. Thus, according to the data collected (50 or 100 squaze meter <br />quadrats), the vegetation presently exceeds this standard. However, the data was not <br />collected to adequacy and therefore should not be considered to be conclusive.
