C~ <br />Road Location <br />The proposed haulroad corridor is Located well away from the <br />channels of intermittent or perennial streams on the moat stable <br />available elopes. No stream fords or crossings are anticipated in <br />connection with Energy Hine No. 3, nor does CYCC plan to divert any <br />stream cha~ele. <br />Road Design and Construction <br />The design of the haulroad is under the direct supervision of and <br />• <br />will be certified by a qualified registered professional engineer. In <br />accordance with Rule 4.03.1, haulroad design was based upon the volume <br />of traffic and weight sad speed of vehicles to be used. From studying <br />the equipment specifications sad consulting the Bureau of !lines <br />Information Circular IC 8758, "Design of Surface Mine Haulage Roads -A <br />Manual", the road design parameters were determined as follwa: <br />Ma=;~+~.
