<br />n. gravel/sand is the primary commodity and used for road <br />cons[ruc[ion/maintenance. No secondary commodity is expected; <br />o. no incidental products are expected; <br />EXHIBIT D -Reclamation Plan <br />a. minimal amounts of overburden exist in this area. Encountered overburden will be <br />mixed with [he material fed the hopper, therefore, during extraction, placement of <br />overburden won't take place; <br />b. maximum gradient of reclaimed slopes will be 3:1; <br />c. Las Animas County will follow the recommendations of Tony Arnhold of the <br />Natural Resources Conservation Service, as stated in his letter (Display C) with <br />the exception of SECTION V Mulching Recommendation: change 2500#'s/acre <br />with weed free native hay or straw to noxious weed free, for the reclamation plan. <br />Reclamation will be completed within 1 year of the conclusion of [his term. <br />Earlier reclaiming may occur if circumstances allow. Las Animas County will <br />employ the same noxious weed control method(s) as it does for it's Noxious <br />Weed Control Program. This includes, but is not limited [o, ongoing scrutiny for <br />noxious weed emergence followed by chemical, biological and/or mechanical <br />control techniques. <br />d. no ponds, streams, roads (except existing ranch road), will remain after <br />reclaiming; <br />e. if waste rock is encountered, it will be used for rip-rap. If diversion ditches and/or <br />sediment basins are necessary, each will be reclaimed.
