5. An area 150 to 200 feet in length and sloped at 5:1 should <br />be~left at the north and south ends to encourage aquatic <br />vegetation. <br />6. Revegetation should include cottonwood trees, native <br />shrubs and grasses. <br />7. The area west of the overflow channel should be left <br />in its natural state. <br />8. The overburden should be stockpiled out of the 100 year <br />floodplain to eliminate the possibility of expensive <br />topsoil and reclamation materials from being washed away. <br />9. Pit water should be pumped into the DeBeque pond if its <br />water table is being lowered. <br />10. Noise, dust and pest mitigation procedures should be <br />implemented. <br />11.
