After the mine is dewatered, treatment plant <br />operating times are expected to decrease to 60 hours per week or less. The settling pond <br />capacity has been sized conservatively by assuming plant operation of 5 days per week <br />24 hours per day. This is a much higher rate that the historical data indicates and should <br />result in a sufficient safety factor in the event of extended mine life or if additional <br />treatment requirements are imposed. <br />The mine has an anticipated life of ] 0 years of operation. The formed precipitate or <br />sludge (PPT) will have a bulk density of approximately 44 Lb/Cu ft.
