Rule 2.12(10) requires more information concerning vegetation than <br />you have provided. I have enclosed a copy of this rule for your <br />reference. Please respond under all parts of this rule. The S.C.S. may <br />or may not be able to provide this level of site-specific data on <br />vegetation. <br />Exhibit IV <br />1. Is a fugitive dust permit required for this operation? If so, the <br />Colorado Department of Health should be contacted, such apennit applied <br />for, and a copy of the application should be sent to our Division. <br />Pit No. 2 <br />exhibit A <br />The legal description given does not describe the 2U acres to be <br />permitted to at least the nearest quarter quarter Section(s). Please <br />submit a description that meets this requirement. <br />Exhibits C and F <br />1. Ns I mentioned to you during our meeting when this application was <br />given to our Division, the maps in this application do not meet the <br />standards for topographic maps for the pre-mining/mining plan (Exhibit C) <br />and reclamation plan (Exhibit F) as required by Rule 2.12(3) and (6). <br />Please reference these rules and submit maps that meet the specifications <br />given therein. Please note that two maps will be required to portray <br />both pre-mining and reclamation conditions on the site. Four copies of <br />each map should be supplied. <br />2. The map under Exhibit C should show the locations of items such as <br />the existing pit (if any), the direction of mining, topsoil stockpiles, <br />sediment control structures, gravel stockpiles, fixed equipment (if any), <br />haul roads (if sepd~ate from the pit area and constructed as a part of <br />the mininy operation), phasing of the operation (as appropriate), and any <br />other matters crucial to the operation of the pit. <br />3.
