Processing Raw Materials <br />This includes blasting, crushing, screening, washing and stockpiling <br />as is necessary to produce sand and coarse aggregate, Techniques being <br />employed are of the highest character and quality. Equipment utilized <br />to move material to crushing equipment and loading trucks are pnuematic <br />tired front end loaders, Process equipment is delineated on drawing <br />177-2, Customer and contract demands will be loaded directly onto vehicles <br />consistent with recognized hauling practices. <br />Storage, handling, transportation and use of explosives shall be <br />subject to the latest published guidelines and regulation of the Bureau <br />of Mines. Inventory records of withdrawals and storage of explosives <br />• are maintained. <br />Dust supression units are employed on track mounted drills, A <br />Johnson March dust supression unit is employed on the screening plant, <br />ldaste water is being re-routed to a constructed empoundment for repeated <br />use. The use of re-circulated spray water eliminates any fresh water <br />contamination, As delineated on drawing 177-2 the fresh water and waste <br />water are circulated in a common pond, Fine particle settlings will be <br />excavated from the pond and re-utilized as replacement embankment or <br />so 1d, Excavated reject material shall not be deposited or stored along <br />side of water courses where the material could be washed away by High <br />water or storm run off, <br />The extraction of material and reclamation of affected areas are <br />projected into a ten year time frame as shown on the following time table, <br /> <br />
