iiiiiiiiiiiuiiiiii

Mining Plan and General Geology
Exhibit D
The deposit being mined is classified by the U.S.G.S, as belonging
to the Intermediate Quartz Monzonite Group of the Lower Eocene. The
deposits were intruded into the eight~egree, east dipping Fountain
sedimentory formation of the Pennsylvanion, The rock, where exposed,
has a columnar structure and is exceeding clean and hard. The colums
are tall, vertical, and impressive. Laboratory tests have confirmed this
rock for use as a concrete aggregate,
The deposit being mined is approximately 1000 feet east -west
•
and 500 feet north -south. South Saint Vrain Creek cuts through the
base of the deposit leaving the average height of the deposits at about
110 feet, This deposit yields approximately 1 ton per 12,5 cubic feet
of in place material, Both sides of the canyon through the deposit area
are extremely rugged with sheer near vertical rock walls, Many large
boulders up to desk size are found on the slopes and in the creek,
Scope of Operations
1, Developing Aggregate Deposit
Andesite Rock Company shall carefully clear overburden from the

deposit. The working face of the deposit shall be located and operated
so as not to detract from the usefulness of the deposit area or any
adjacent area. Stripping both frrnn prior mining and future operations
shall be removed, stock-piled, and re-utilized for restoration and
revegetation efforts.
