GF,OTECHD;ICAL STUDIES <br />AND DESIGN RECOMDSF.NDATIONS <br />MUNGER CANYON HAUL ROAD <br />LOMA MINES, GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO <br />FOR SHERIDAN ENTERPRISES, INC. <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />The present access to the proposed Munger Canyon Mine <br /> is provided by a gravel road between State Highway 139 and <br /> <br /> the site of the mine. This gravel road is about 2 miles long <br />and it follows partly the Munger Creek valley; it follows a <br />steep-sided valley of the Plunger Creek tributary in its upper <br />portion. The location of the site is shown on Plate 1, Vicinity <br />Mao. <br />Sheridan Enterprises, Inc. proposes to improve this <br />gravel road and to upgrade it to a haul road, as indicated <br />on the Plans titled "plunger Canyon Haul Road, Loma Mines". <br />From a geotechnical point of view, the road improvement <br />does not present any problems within the lower part of the <br />u <br />
