We re-
quest if possible that you represent us at the 10:00 A.M., Board
Meeting, August 20, 2003 in Denver, Colorado, We wish to list the
following:
1. The name of the operator, Midas Mining Company, Tnc.
2. Site, Ophir Lode in the Galena Mining District, Hinsdale County
3. File Number, M2001-063
4. Purpose, MMC filed and placed the required Bond after the 365
day permitted filing time elapsed.
5. Delay reason, Hinsdale County extended the public hearing time
beyond January 1, 2003, for the Special Use Permit. The March
19, 2003 Use Permit enclosed. Other Information, MMC has not disturbed any underground or
surface ground in the area to be covered by the mining permit
and no permit conditions have changed.
We will appreciate favorable consideration and offer to supply any
additional information that might be helpful.
We hope this is not an imposition, asking you to present our
application to the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
Sincerely yours,
Midas/ Mining Company, Inc.
