EXHIBIT H -WILDLIFE INFORMATION f6.4.8) <br />(1) (a) The Gravel, LLC property is a former commercial elk ranch and as <br />such is currently fenced to maintain adequate enclosure for this <br />previous operation. The Fassbender property is currently an operating <br />sheep ranch. There are no significant wildlife resources within the <br />affected or surrounding properties. <br />(b) The elk ranch was in operation year round. The sheep ranch is <br />seasonal in use. <br />(c) There have been no threatened or endangered species observed <br />neither within the affected property nor in the immediate vicinity of the <br />property. <br />(d) It is proposed that the elk fence be left in place where possible to <br />provide safeguards and security for the mine site. This fence is likely to <br />be removed as post-use residential development begins. This will offer <br />potential access for wildlife that did not previously exist. <br />(2) The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOV11) will be notified as part of the La <br />Plata County Land-Use Application process requirements for this <br />project. <br />., <br />
