EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION 16.4.7) <br />(2) (a) It is anticipated that ground water will be encountered in the mining <br />of Phase D. The ownedoperator proposes to create apost-use <br />reservoir as part of the residential development. This is shown <br />conceptually on Exhibit G, as are all existing water features <br />adjacent to this phase. <br />(b) The existence of an aquifer underlying Phase D is not known. <br />(c) Ground water encountered during the mining within Phase D will <br />be pumped via pipe and/or channel to the detention /settling pond <br />shown on Exhibit C. A gravel pit well permit will be attained prior to <br />this excavation of this phase. <br />Should the operator anticipate any potential discharge of ground <br />water in the dewateringl mining of Phase D, an applicable CDPS <br />General Permit will be issued prior to any operations in this phase. <br />(3) Estimated requirements for project water are indicated below: <br />Descri tion Flow Rates GPH Annual Volume Gal <br />Develo ment 500 540K 3 months <br />Minin Dust Control 1,100 3.3M <br />Reclamation 300-750 1.5- 4M <br />(4) The owner/operator has applied to the state for acommercial-use well to <br />supply 10 AF/Yr. for use in development and mining phases. Irrigation <br />rights exist on the property and will be employed during revegetation of <br />Phases A, B, C, and D. <br />(5) Discharge of stormwater into any waterways is not anticipated at this <br />time. Sufficient detention is currently under design. Should the potential <br />discharge of stormwater be determined, however, applicant/ operator will <br />apply for and receive an appropriate discharge permit under the Colorado <br />Water Quality Control Act prior to surface disturbance. <br /> <br />
