monitored at two locations. The 1991 hydrologic monitoring report. •
Hydro-Engineering (3/92), presents the discus_=ion of ithe
monitoring results through 1991. The table on the blue pull ;out
index provides basic well data for ail wells monitored ir.. 1992.
Spoil springs with flows greater than 5 gpm are required t be
monitored to further define the ground-water quality. The flows
from all spoil springs were all less than 5 gpm during 1992.
Table 1-1 (paee 1-3) presents the pit and well dewatering rata
and volume of water i,tsed for dust depression for Trapper Mine for
1992. This data shows that. on an average. approximately 32.4 and
5.4 gpm were pumped from the Trapper Mine pits and dewatering
wells, respectively. This data is useful in interpreting
water-level r_hanges and consumptive use. •
Surface-water flow and quality have been monitored at the
Flume, West Buzzard. Johnson. No Name. Coyote. Ute and Elk
drainages during 1992. The Johnson. No Name. East Buzzard. Coyote.
West Buzzard, Ute. West Pyeatt, Elk, East Pyeatt and Middle Pyatt
drainages are Trapper"s NPDES discharge sites 001. 002. 003, 005,
006. 008, 009, 010. 011 and 013, respectively. There werei no
discharges at NPDES sites 003, 005, 009. 011 or 013 during 1992,
therefore no data is presented.
NPDES sites 012 (Deer Gulch) and 014 (Far East Buzzard) nave
been installed in 1992 but no discharge occurred. Inactive sites
004 and 007 have been removed from the NPDES program ands no
monitoring is required.
•
__~
