- ~ - <br />EXHIBIT "E" -' <br />Reclamation Plan <br />' The reclamation of the mining site will commence upon final extraction of / <br />material as delineated on the mining plan or 1 October 1987, whichever occurs <br />first. Recontoured slopes will be kept at 4:1 wherever possible. All areas <br />in excess of 3:1 will be mulched after seeding with 2 tons of hay or straw per <br />acre. At no time will slopes be greater than 2:1. <br />All topsoil will be stockpiled in a non-erosive configuration prior to access <br />road construction and gravel extraction. Upon the relocation of the working <br />area to the pit floor in year two, all disturbance areas on the top of the site <br />will be reclaimed in accordance with Soil Conservation Service recommendations. <br />Recontoured slopes will be replaced at a depth of 6 to 8 inches with fertilizer <br />being applied at a rate of not less than 40 lbs./acre (nitrogen and phosphorus). <br />Seeding will be in accordance with the Soil Conservation Service recommendation <br />(see attached report). <br /> <br /> <br />
