Operation will be between 1 June and <br />within BLM guidelines. <br />NATER P,ESOURCES REPORT <br />"lo surface water exists on the proposed gravel pit site. An intermittent stream <br />(Sulphur Gulch) runs just North of County Road #201, however no impacts are <br />anticipated due to the fact that the County Road will act as a buffer for all <br />runoff. <br />VEGETATION AND SOILS REPORT <br />Overlying soils on-site have been identified by the Soil Survey of Grand County <br />as Leavitt Loam (45) found on slopes ranging from 0 - 5%. The survey's on-site <br />investigation indicated that adequate topsoil exists for revegetation. A <br />vegetation inventory was conducted by the Soil Conservation Service P-tay 25, <br />1934. Please refer to attached Soil Conservation Service Report for detailed <br />information. <br />CULTURAL RESOURCE REPORT <br />An on-site investigation was conducted on July 27 with BLM staff of the Kremmling <br />Resource Area. The site was found to contain a disperse lithic scatter of <br />chippings which was determined not to be of a cultural significance. Nothing <br />of a hlistoric or Palentoligical significance is anticipated to be found on-site. <br />VISUAL IMPACTS <br />The proposed gravel pit site lends itself well to visual impact abatement. County <br />Road #201 serves only one County resident, who is located approximately one (1) <br />mile Northeast of the proposal. A large ridge line lies between the proposal and <br />State Highway #40 with approximately 80 feet of relief. This site will be <br />completely screened from Highway #40. <br />
