LuchheaA ExecN rve Dvec~or Roy Romer Governor Michael B Lnng Division Direcmr M-86-079; Preliminary Adequacy The Division received your application for a Construction Material Limited Impact (110) Reclamation Application on October 10, 1996. The application was initially called incomplete for failure to submit all of the required exhibits. This missing information was submitted on October 22, 1996 and the application was called complete on that date. The application is generally well organized and contains the required information. There are a few items that will require clarification or the submittal of additional information as follows. Exhibit A No comment. Exhibit B (a) Provide a more detailed vegetation and soils description. This can be done using the information out of the NRCS soil survey and should include all soil units that will be disturbed; a reproduction of the published soils map showing where these units lie in relation to the proposed mine; a representative profile and general description of each soil unit or series that will be disturbed. For a more detailed vegetation description, the range site descriptions out of the soil survey may be useful. (b) During the site inspection, a barn or shop structure was observed to the west of the proposed affected area. Is this structure within 200 feet of the affected area? If so, please identify it and add it to the Exhibit E map. Also, there were some trailers and such at the site. Are any of these permanent? If so, they should also be identified and added in the appropriate area.
