Phase [V Weekly Summary No. 41 Page 2 003-2203 <br />Ames continued SF blast drilling in Phase Na at EOL station 21+00. Ames blasted on November <br />14a' at 16:30. <br />PhaseIVb <br />Ames did not perform excavation remediation of Phase IVb underground workings during this <br />reporting period. <br />Ames performed cleazing and grubbing of topsoil and removed trees neaz the temporary access road <br />in Phase IVb. Topsoil and slash were piled locally for relocation at a later date. <br />Ames continued to excavate azound and demolish the retaining wall at the Cazlton Mill. Ames used <br />Caterpillaz 330 and 375 excavators to remove cut material and wall. <br />Phase Nc I <br />Ames did not conduct construction activities in the Phase IVc azea during this reporting period. <br />(See Attachment A for approximate construction locations for all Phase N azeas.) <br />Field Monitoring and Testing Activities <br />Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase IV earthworks. All construction <br />materials and soil materials were verified as suitable and construction methods were in accordance <br />with project specifications. Removal of oversized and deleterious material from all fill azeas was <br />observed. <br />Golder observed cleazing and grubbing within the Phase N area. All available topsoil was removed <br />and deleterious material hauled to Upper Arequa Gulch. <br />Golder observed demolition of the Cazlton retaining wall. Waste materials were hauled to Upper <br />Arequa Gulch. <br />Laboratory Test Results <br />No laboratory testing associated with the Phase IV construction was conducted during this reporting <br />period. <br />Meetines <br />CC&V held a Weekly Contractor meeting on November 13`s. Items discussed include Safety, <br />Environmental, Schedule, and CQA.
