Ames resumed SF blast drilling in Phase Na at "D 10 Hill" and blasted on Apri125`s. <br />Ames began to receive 80-mil and 40-mil geomembrane in preparation for Phase Na geomembrane <br />deployment. <br />Ames constructed a geogrid cap over UG-456. Ames placed two layers of geogrid in accordance with <br />the drawings and specifications. <br />Ames did not perform confirmation drilling or excavation remediation in the Phase Na area during <br />this reporting period. <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames continued Structural Fill (SF) placement and compaction activities a6 the PSSA haul road and at <br />the western perimeter berm. Structural Fill materials were placed in horizontal lifts typically not <br />exceeding 2 feet in loose thickness. A Caterpillaz CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a <br />Caterpillaz water wagon provided moisture conditioning when needed. Ames conducted slope <br />recontouring activities at the central portion of the temporary diversion channel and in the PSSA sump <br />azea. Ames continued recontouring the Phase III ore slope on the South side of the Phase N PSSA in <br />preparation for Bedding Fill placement. <br />Ames continued to construct the Phase Nb PU through the central portion of the PSSA and working <br />West towazd Highway 67. Ames excavated trench and placed geotextile, Underdrain Fill (UF), and <br />Select Structural Fill (SSF) for approximately 200 feet of PU. Ames began construction of the central <br />and western Phase Nb Secondary Underdrains (SU) as generally located on the drawings. <br />Ames continued construction of the LOB by placing Soil Liner Fill (SLF) and Geomembrane. Ames <br />placed 1 foot of SLF and POLYFLEX deployed 80-mil single sided textured LLDPE geomembrane <br />over an area of 39,200 sf. Geomembrane panel P-62 through P-78 were deployed, seamed, and tested <br />by POLYFLEX. Destructive seam samples DF-15 through DF-18 and DX-03 were removed and <br />tested. Ames backfilled approximately 200 feet of anchor trench and placed 2 feet of Drain Cover Fill <br />(DCF) over the lined azea. <br />Ames did not perform confirmation drilling in the Phase IVb area during this reporting period. <br />Ames continued placement of Concrete Plug (CP) concrete into "Deep Shaft" UG-247. Ames placed <br />three feet of concrete in accordance with IFC Drawing 12, Detail 1. <br />Ames placed Cemented Rockfill (CR) at UG-201, UG-203, and UNK-12 by tapering the working and <br />placing 7 feet of CR in accordance with IFC Drawing 12, Detail 1. <br />Ames constructed a geogrid cap over UNK-12.
