Phase 1 V Weekly Summary No. 47 Page 2 003-2203 <br />UG-444, UG-449, UG-450, and UG-456. The workings were observed and verified to be "Shallow" or <br />"Deep" as defined in the drawings and will be remediated accordingly. <br />Ames continued placement of Select Structural Fill (SSF) into "Shallow" underground workings UG- <br />441 and UG-449. <br />Ames did not perform any confirmatory drilling activities associated with the Phase Na construction <br />during this reporting period. <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames removed deleterious material (wood, frozen SF) and hauled this material to a designated <br />location in Upper Arequa Gulch. <br />Ames continued Structural Fill (SF)~placement and compaction activities in the eastern portion of the <br />Phase Nb footprint at the temporary access road neaz the old highway crossing. Structural Fill <br />materials were placed in horizontal lifts typically not exceeding 2 feet in loose thickness. A Caterpillaz <br />CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Caterpillaz water wagon provided moisture <br />conditioning when needed or required. Structural Fill was borrowed from the slope recontouring <br />activities neaz the RavenBeacon shaft (UG-494) and the LOB excavation in Phase Nb. SF was also <br />used to backfill "Shallow" workings UG-476, UG-477, UG-479, UG-480, UG-482, and UG-497. <br />Ames performed excavation remediation activities of known underground workings UG-201, UG- <br />266, UG-316, UG-317, UG-476 through UG-480, UG-482, UG-494, UG-497, and UNK-12. The <br />• workings were observed and verified to be "Shallow" or "Deep" as defined in the drawings and will <br />be remediated accordingly. <br />Ames continued placement of Select Structural Fill (SSF) into "Shallow" underground workings UG- <br />276 through UG-480 and UG-482. <br />Ames performed confirmatory drilling activities associated with the Phase Nb construction area on <br />known underground workings UG-201, UG-265, UG-305, UG-316, UG-317, UG-476, UG-483, UG- <br />494, and UNK-12. <br />Ames resumed placement of Concrete Plug (CP) concrete into "Deep Shags" UG-217 and UG-266. <br />Ames placed three feet of concrete in accordance with IFC Drawing 12, detail 1. <br />Ames continued blast drilling of underground workings within Phase IVb at UG-265 and UG-316. <br />Ames blasted underground workings delineated by confirmation drilling at UG-265 on February 15's at <br />16:50 and at UG-316 on February 21 S` at 16:40. <br />Phase Nc <br />Ames did not place SF in the Phase Nc azea during this reporting period. <br />Ames performed excavation remediation activities for known underground workings UG-262, UG- <br />\_J <br />PhaselVaa]Feb 10-21 JOC Golder Associates Inc. <br />
