~esoorse *.c comp,air:: laser--~aae c
3. We believe that Mr. Baker must have indicated to Mr. Posey and
the Conservancy Board that he intended to operate a wet nit. We
would hope Mr. Baker would try again to establish a private dry
nit on his prooerty. We agree the County needs a source of
materials for private and commercial purposes. The County does
not went to use its materials to serve these purposes.
4. We do not intend to use the pit area as a dumping ground. We
intenn to store road building materials including riprep,
culverts, bridge Darts, and some drums of non-hazardous liquid
^etexials. The County has been lax in the past about keening
these materials in nn orderly manner. After reclamation is
complete in a portion of the bottom of the excavation these
materials can be placed in the bottom of the pit which will make
them much less visible to surrounding prooerty owners. Since the
County does own this land it would be used out of necessity to
store these materiels even if it were not being used as a nit.
We would be happy to offer what assistance we can to Mr. Baker should he
elect to try again to establish a pit on his prooerty.
ncereiv.
T.
