Todd Stockebrand • •
January 6, 1995
Page 2
Either a request for a substtute water suppty plan and a gravel pit well permit or a remedial
plan of action should be submitted within 30 days of your receipt of this letter. Pursuant to
statute, the filing fees for a substitute water suppy plan and a well permit application are $1343
and $60 respectively. Enclosed for your information are copies of the current and proposed
general criteria used in evaluating substitute water supply plans and a well permit application
form. Our office will send the plan to an outside consultant for their review and recommendation.
The consultant will typically have 60-90 days to approve or deny the proposed plan. If the
consultant recommends approval, our office will review the approval to confirm that all
requirements have been met. If all conditions have been met, the plan will be approved allowing
a well permit to be issued.
Please contact Keith Vander Horst of our Denver office or Steve Vandiver, Division
Engineer, in our Division 3 office in Alamosa at (719) 589-8683 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~+~"G1 . u"'o'~-
Hal D.
