PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />Senior Environmental Toxicolooist, Xenometrix, Inc., Boulder, <br />Colorado. 1993 to Present. <br />Responsible for research and development of In vivo and In vitro <br />molecular toxicology assays for determining genetic and cellular <br />damage from environmental contaminants at superfund sites, <br />,validation of data, identifying potential environmental business <br />developments, and contacts with legislators and environmental <br />regulatory agencies. <br />• Senior Environmental Toxicolooist, Ebasco Environmental, Inc., <br />Lakewood, Colorado. 1992 - 1993 <br />Conducted public health and ecological risk assessments and <br />toxicological evaluations for contaminants of concern at DOE <br />Rocky Flats Plant on $45 million contract. <br />Modeled risk from eight pesticide and metal contaminants to <br />ecosystems using bioavailability models for exposure pathways and <br />food webs. <br />Conducted validation and calibration assessments of contaminant <br />fate and transport model and food pathway model at U.S. Army's <br />Rocky Mountain Arsenal site for Endangerment <br />Assessment/Feasibility Study. <br />Developed conceptual designs for biological treatment of <br />pesticide and other hazardous contamination at DOD Rocky Mountain <br />Arsenal under $100 million contract. <br />. 'President, Environmental Conflict-Resolutions <br />Waterford, Virginia. 1990 to 1992 <br />Designed wastewater treatment system for CERCLA Remedial Design <br />Phase; system sized to remove toxic metals and organic wastes <br />from 75 acres landfill and acid-mine leachates affecting <br />groundwater and surface water. <br />Coordinated public relations tasks and public meetings at CERCLA <br />site for cleanup of groundwater affected by gasoline <br />contamination from leaking underground storage tanks. <br />Prepared environmental evaluations and assessments of real estate <br />for protection of water supplies and siting of wastewater <br />treatment systems. <br />Conducted successful natural resource restoration of illegally <br />filled wetlands for enforcement case at 25 acres site. <br />Prepared analyses of federal, state, and local environmental <br />regulations pertaining to wetlands, groundwater protection, and <br />soil suitability for development. <br />
