The Colorado Department of Health, Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) maintains a sampling network and ambient air quality standards which must be met. As classified by EPA and APCD, the project is located in a PSD Class II Attain- ment Area which requires permits for any major source of air emissions. There are PSD Class I Attainment Areas located ap- proximately 50 miles to the north, however, this proposed project is not anticipated to impact those areas.
